Messier 65 and 66Two of what are known as the "Leo Trio" located about 22 million light years away in constellation Leo. Both galaxies appear to be barred spiral structures but both have been interrupted by mild interaction. There is little dust and gas in M65 and star formation is low in comparison to other galaxies of its size and type. M65 also contains a relatively strong radio emission source a few arc minutes from its core. It has not been sourced nor has it been the subject of any published work.
